Want to get involved in helping improve the lives of those affected by autism? There are many ways to volunteer with the Autism Society of South Central Wisconsin
Board of Directors
Directors help steer the organization, brainstorm new opportunities for our communities, maintain our financial health and help advocate for those affected by autism. The group meets once a month, and most Board members are asked to serve on one committee. The annual picnic in June and the holiday dinner in December are fun traditions. There is also a Board Retreat in February.
Committee membership
The organization is also guided by committees focusing on advocacy, marketing/fundraising, finance, policy, support and education. Committees meet once a month.
Educational volunteers
We are always looking for people willing to share their expertise with our members and communities through seminars and workshops. If you have a area of interest that you would like to share, we are happy to work with you to create an exciting educational opportunity!
Special event volunteers
Various annual events run from January to December, and all could use smiling faces! Special event duties range from staffing an information table to helping children create imaginative artwork to dishing out ice cream and more!
