Serving Families in South Central and Southwest Wisconsin

New to Autism

If you are new to autism, you probably have a lot of questions. You may be feeling overwhelmed by the amount of information available in books, on the internet and from friends, family and professionals you know.

To help families and individuals new to autism, our organization offers:

  • Autism 101: A workshop specifically created for families new to autism to help find a path toward getting information, services and support so that they can make the decisions that are right for them.
  • Support Group: Our Support Group meetings are open to individuals on the Autism Spectrum, parents, family members and friends who want to share and learn from each other.  All of our meetings are free and open to the public. Support Group meetings are the third Tuesday of every other month.
  • Resource Guide: download a PDF of a variety of resources for both individuals with ASD and their families.

We welcome all to our workshops or support groups. You do not need to be a member to participate in any of our programs.

Upcoming meetings are generally posted on in the events column on the right-hand side of each page on our website. If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us at autismmadison@gmail.com.
