Our Support Group meetings are open to individuals on the Autism Spectrum, parents, family members and friends who want to share and learn from each other. All of our meetings are free and open to the public.
At previous Support Group meetings, attendees have viewed and discussed movies and documentaries, learned about the value of mindfulness and stress reduction, enjoyed presentations by professionals in autism-related fields and more.
We hold Support Group meetings on the third Tuesday of every other month (January, March, May, July, September, November) from 7-9 p.m. at Midvale Community Lutheran Church, 4329 Tokay Blvd, (corner of Midvale and Tokay) in Madison.
(ATTENTION: the Fellowship Hall is under renovation so we meet either in Room 131 or the Library on the main level. Look for signs.)

I live in Fond du Lac, but I have a 24 – yr. old son with characteristics of autism (he is very high functioning) living in a two bedroom apartment in Madison in the Fitchburg area. He is looking for a roommate. He is working full time and living completely independently at this point, though we do occasionally come to help him clean. His interests are music and film. Rent would be approximately $375 a month. If interested, please contact me, Kathy, at kathy_fee@sbcglobal.net.
Thanks!
Kathy,
Google ASW, the Autism Society of Wisconsin for helpful information. There is a local chapter in the Fox Valley that should also be able to offer assistance.
I have a husband with Asperger’s syndrome. I live in the Madison area … Are there any support groups for spouses?
