This event is aimed at leaders in our business, health care, education and nonprofit communities who may not be aware of the work our Chapter does or its role in Southern Wisconsin. Our Autism Society Chapter provides a continuum of services through the lifespan, which ultimately makes this a better place to live, work and play.
In 2011, the 50th Anniversary Gala featured a celebration of recognizing two founding members of ASGM, Ardythe Cobb and Fran Bicknell. The award presented in future years will be given in their name (Bicknell-Cobb Award) to a deserving member that has performed outstanding service to the organization.
2011 ceremonies also included speeches by Jessica Doyle and Governor Jim Doyle along with a visit from current ASA President Scott Badesch.
2012 had more attendees, a much bigger raffle/silent auction and raised more money for the organization with a tribute to former ASGM Board President Donna Rosinski.
