September 29th and 30th
This is the 9th Annual A-Maze-ing Days which makes it our longest running fun(d)raiser. The Treinen Farm event keeps getting bigger and better!
A-Maze-ing Days 2011 were just that…amazing…with the gorgeous backdrop of Treinen Farm near Lodi and the weather could not have been better. Huge crowds came to do fun, family activities like a hayride into the pumpkin patch, farm animal exhibits, ag educational displays, the popular pumpkin slingshot and of course, the incredible corn maze billed as Wisconsin’s largest.

Volunteers from the Autism Society of South Central Wisconsin, along with friends, family members and a few UW students helped over the two day period at various areas. The greeting tent offered free lemonade, hot chocolate, coffee and ice cream with accepted donations. The lunch tent stayed incredibly busy by selling hot dogs and brats right off the grill. An art tent gave kids a chance to “express” themselves and the big bouncy gave little ones a chance to burn off any remaining energy. Many stayed for a Saturday night bonfire with smores. The raffle tent was a flurry of activity with over 2 dozen small and large prizes given away as the curtain dropped before Sunday’s sunset.
Thanks to all contributors in making A-Maze-ing days a time to celebrate this tremendous time of year and for allowing your local Autism Society chapter to do more for individuals and families that we serve!
